Getting Back on the Wagon

So despite my best efforts to stay on track, I once again fell behind both taking pictures and updating this blog. Here's what I have been up to the last month.

One weekend, to break up the monotony of reading, writing, and more reading, I took a drive into Lansing to the park right by the power plant.

The first sprout of my windowsill herb garden. Spring should be here soon!

Another weekend trip, this time to the campus bell tower.

The light was hitting the smoke stack on campus just right after a long day of class. Also, I can finally see the cement on the sidewalk, the ice is melting!

Back home for spring break, I took advantage of one of the nicer, yet still cold days to venture down to the river and get honked at by some very angry geese.

Over Spring Break I ventured north to the Upper Peninsula to interview for some internships and took advantage of the beautiful scenery.

Back home, I went to one of the many lakes and creeped on a local snowshoer in an attempt to work on sunset photography.

Back in East Lansing, I used one late class to further work on the sunsets from the Law School parking garage.

Finally, having some time to kill I went to my favorite bike path that runs along the river. Last time I was there it was almost completely frozen over. This time the ice had broken up, but there were some very cool icicle formations on the trees.
