Pre-Summer Break

I was fortunate enough to be able to head back to Oconomowoc before heading north and spend some time with the family. Most of this involved sleeping and playing with the dog, but I was able to take advantage of some beautiful days and get a few photos taken.

Week 1: Welcome to the Upper Peninsula!

I have begun my summer, finally!

Although it is still only about 50 degrees out on a good day, I started my summer internship this week in the Delta County Prosecutor's Office in Escanaba, MI. So far it has been absolutely wonderful and I have had a tremendous amount of courtroom time already. Everyone I have met has bee extremely nice and welcoming. I know I am in for a great experience this summer.

Unfortunately it has rained or even snowed for a great portion of this week, but I was able to get out and take pictures on two occasions. First, as I was just pulling into town and second, when I finished up a study session on what was supposed to be a very rainy Saturday. It however turned out beautiful and I was unable to let the opportunity slip by.
